Are you ready to step beyond traditional private practice and take ownership of high-profile, complex workplace matters? Our client, a specialist employment and workplace investigations team trusted by major organisations across Australia, is seeking a senior lawyer with expertise in employment law. This is a rare opportunity to shape organisational outcomes, influence best-practice, and work with a team renowned for discretion, rigour, and impact.

The Role:
As a senior member of the team, you will:

Lead independent, high-stakes investigations into misconduct, harassment, discrimination, whistleblower matters, fraud, bullying, and policy breaches.

Gather, analyse, and interpret evidence, conduct interviews with sensitivity and precision, and deliver clear, objective, evidence-based reports with actionable recommendations.

Provide strategic employment law advice on compliance, wage audits, transfers of business, and policy development.

Draft employment contracts, policies, and procedures, and deliver client training on workplace law and best-practice conduct.

Autonomously manage the scope, cost, and execution of investigations, advising clients on complex or sensitive matters with confidence and authority.

Who They're Looking For:

Significant experience in employment law, workplace investigations, or a similar high-level advisory role.

Exceptional analytical and report-writing skills, with the ability to distil complex matters into actionable insights.

Unwavering integrity, independence, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused and commercially aware approach.

Cultural awareness and empathy in dealing with sensitive and diverse workplace issues.

Why This Opportunity:

Work on impactful, high-profile matters that directly influence organisational culture and compliance.

Join a specialist team where autonomy, professional growth, and mentorship are integral.

Operate in a culture of excellence, collaboration, and discretion – without timesheet pressures.

Shape the future of employment and workplace investigations for some of Australia’s leading organisations.

All discussions will be in strict confidence and your CV and details will not be passed to any third party or prospective employer until instructed by you.
