About the Role
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, leading a team of employees and subcontractors to deliver civil projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader with strong technical and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about achieving excellent outcomes for clients, the team, and the community.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of internal employees and subcontractors to successfully execute daily project tasks.
Ensure all compliance requirements are met to maintain the safety, quality, and environmental standards of the project.
Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure correct execution.
Support the Site Supervisor to achieve project milestones and high-quality outcomes.
Continuously motivate your team to maintain high productivity and employee satisfaction.
Lead by example and uphold all Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards at all times.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Extensive civil construction experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
Competence in all aspects of civil construction, including reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients.
Ability to work autonomously and perform under pressure.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
Current Australian driver’s licence.
