For over 40 years, we’ve been Australia’s premium supplier of architectural matting systems, floor safety products, skate deterrents, bike storage and car park safety solutions to the commercial building industry.
We are now looking for an in-house Business Development Executive to join our team and take our brand further — building new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and driving growth in the construction industry.

The Role
You’ll be a leading point of contact — identifying and pursuing opportunities, calling and engaging with key influencers, and representing our brand with confidence and flair. You’ll thrive on building momentum, connecting with the right people, and ensuring our distinctive capabilities are clearly understood.
This is a role for someone who loves the chase, values follow-through, and is passionate about delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively qualify and pursue sourced business opportunities in target markets to develop and build a strong sales pipeline.
Partner with lead generation, customer service, estimating, client relations/sales teams to provide a world class experience to all stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong, strategic client relationships through networking, research, and engagement.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM, ensuring pipeline visibility.
Act as our in-house Point of Difference Ambassador, promoting CAG’s values, brand strength, and distinctive capabilities.
About You
5+ years’ experience in business development, account management, or a similar role.
Experience in the commercial construction or architectural products sector.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
Proven ability to build networks within the construction industry.
A natural networker who thrives on people, relationships and connection.
A confident communicator with an excellent phone manner, who builds trust quickly, presents with impact and always follows through.
Strategic and agile able to connect the dots, recognise upselling opportunities and pivots quickly
Persistent, passionate and resilient – driven by results without complacency and with #noexcuses
