We are a friendly, specialist medical practice seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team of female gynaecologists specialising in infertility and IVF in our office based in the Junction NSW.

This permanent part-time position (4 days per week) will suit someone who enjoys being part of a supportive, close-knit team and takes pride in providing exceptional patient care.

Experience in Genie or Gentu practice management software is strongly preferred.

The ability to pick up occasional additional shifts and experience in medical reception roles is also highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

Answering incoming calls and booking appointments with accuracy and empathy

Greeting patients, creating files, and processing payments

Coordinating operating lists, procedures and liaising with hospital staff

Managing patient correspondence and enquiries via phone and email

Scanning, filing, and typing medical notes via dictation

Processing Medicare and health fund claims

Maintaining an organised and well-presented reception area

Medical Dictaphone typing

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in Genie or Gentu practice management software (strongly preferred)

Experienced in medical reception (essential), ideally within a specialist health clinic

Warm, professional, and confident communicating with patients and clinical staff

Able to multitask in a busy environment with strong attention to detail

Reliable, flexible, and a genuine team player

Non-judgmental, open-minded, and respectful of our diverse patient base
