Our client is looking for a Mechanical Services Project Manager to work on complex major projects in the Education and Health space. This is a great opportunity to get into this business, work with some great people at the top of their game and test yourself on complex projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the delivery of the services design / delivery aspects of a construction project in accordance with the brief
• Establish, monitor and manage services design, delivery and procurement program
• Manage the installation of building and critical services to ensure compliance with local regulatory bodies and the building code
• Planning of construction sequence and safe working procedures
• Clearly understand drawings, specifications, programs or scope of works for each subcontractor package
• Consult on project construction program and deadlines

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5-10yrs experience working for a Tier 1 subcontractor in the Mechanical Services space on complex projects
• Experience with the installation, maintenance and testing of essential Building services - Mechanical and Hydraulic
• Sound understanding and application of statutory legislation including knowledge of the OHS Act, Building Code of Australia and the relevant services Australian Standards.
• Strong communication & leadership skills, you will be managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
