National Hospitality Management has an exciting opportunity for Sous Chef at Elephant and Wheelbarrow in Melbourne CBD
We run a highly successful and enjoyable business with constant career opportunities within our sister companies.
We are looking for individuals who can prepare and present high-quality modern food, coupled with your ability and consistency you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
Implement Food and safety and OHS procedures,
The ability to work within a team,
Have experience in pan, larder, pizza, fry and grill work
Knowledge of and managing deliveries,
Some menu planning and costing,
Training and helping to building a smooth and harmonious team environment
Working to set budgets with wage, food costs and general expenses.
The successful applicant will have excellent people skills and be able to communicate at all levels and supervise the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. You must be self-motivated and have previous experience in a similar role.
