We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our vibrant club. With a bistro, outdoor area, gaming and sports bar, this is a unique opportunity to showcase your culinary talent in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our club prides itself on delivering top-quality food and exceptional service across all areas, from casual dining to large-scale events.

The Role:

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to manage kitchen operations to ensure high quality food services that meet members, guests and club expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Head Chef in all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the bistro and catering.

Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.

Contribute to menu development and bring creativity to specials and event menus, ensuring seasonal and on-trend offerings.

Ensure food safety standards and kitchen hygiene are consistently maintained.

Assist with inventory management, ordering, and maintaining kitchen supplies.

Take charge of kitchen operations in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring the highest quality food is delivered efficiently.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Previous Sous Chef experience or strong Chef de Partie experience looking to step up.

Proven ability to manage a team in a fast paced environment.

Passion for creative, high-quality food and knowledge of industry trends.

Strong leadership skills with a collaborative calm approach.

Ability to perform under pressure, especially during peak service.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Knowledge of food safety standards
