ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is based in Dubbo
Key Accountabilities:
Provide administrative services including filing, mail receipt and sorting, maintenance of registers, routine purchasing, meeting and event support, photocopying, and creating and compiling documents to support the effective operation of the team/unit
Collect and compile information to support the development of documentation and reports
Respond to enquiries and routine requests for information, escalating enquiries as necessary, to ensure the provision of accurate information
Update records and databases, complying with records management processes, to ensure information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible

Essential requirements
Appointments are subject to reference checks. Some roles may also require the following checks/ clearances:
National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management:
Ensure that all activities and operations within the scope of responsibility are performed in accordance with the allocated budget.
Operational Processes:
Queries and complaints from clients and their families that are raised to you should be escalated to the Program Manager
You’ll take your record keeping seriously and make effective use of our electronic management systems in place or in development.
Contribute to the implementation of TWAC policies, processes, systems and platforms to ensure efficiency.
Agree with the Program Manager on the frequency of regular supervision for your role and actively participate in supervision.
Maintain awareness of and fulfill responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities, safety and wellbeing management system
Client Management:
Ensure that engagement with external parties positively enhances TWACs reputation and growth.
You will maintain a high standard of conduct and work performance to promote our reputation with key internal and external stakeholders.
People Management:
Act as a constructive member of the TWAC team.
Contribute to a culture of openness, feedback, and productivity.
Positively model the Code of Conduct and Ethical Behaviour.
Take care for the safety of yourself and others at all times and undertake work in a safe manner in accordance with policies, procedures and instructions (written or verbal) and in adherence to the attached WHS responsibilities by role.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Financial Management:
Provide administrative support to financial by managing receipts from all purchases and invoices. File records in compliance with record keeping processes.
Support the organisation to have accurate financial information stored and managed for access by the Program Manager and Board of Members.
Operational Processes:
All stakeholders in your area of responsibility are constantly communicated with and remain informed and involved in appropriate aspects and projects.
You’ll provide detailed and accurate information to clients about our services available.
THE IMPORTANT DETAILS
Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Administration or working towards same or relevant professional experience qualifying as recognition of prior learning toward a suitable tertiary qualification. and/or demonstrated relevant work experience with families, or equivalent and relevant to the field of work
Criteria:
Aboriginality
Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or a minimum of 3 years' experience
Ability to travel
Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a multifunction team.
Proven computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications
Current driver’s license and willingness to travel
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and characteristics which include warmth, empathy, flexibility, ability to handle crises, time management skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
