Job Description
Reporting to the Manager Network and Systems, the Systems Support Officer supports the operational day to day activities of the various Information Systems within Lotterywest which are essential for the smooth running of all the IT functions within the business. The role investigates, recommends and optimises all operations of the various systems with a focus on supporting all the business activities and providing solutions to business challenges. This role provides an escalation point for issues raised from the Lotterywest Service Desk team.
Customer service – Provide high levels of customer service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and high-quality service delivery.
Technology support - Provide technical support for complex technical issues within Lotterywest IT systems and as act as a point of escalation
Technology reliability – Ensure ongoing operations of internal and external technology systems
Relationship management – Develop and maintain productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for:
Demonstrated experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and development of IT systems (such as Active Directory, Linux, Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS)
Demonstrated skills and experience in developing, monitoring and maintaining the delivery of business systems (such as Backup and Storage technologies, Microsoft Windows Server and VMWare VSphere Technology)
Well-developed research, analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve system issues
Sound communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to develop and maintain working relationships including collaboration skills
Experience or working knowledge with IT industry standards and ITIL framework
