The Position
We are seeking two motivated and skilled ICT professionals to join our dynamic school community in permanent, full-time positions commencing immediately. These roles play a vital part in supporting the school’s technology infrastructure and delivering high-quality ICT services to staff and students.
ICT Systems Administrator
The ICT Systems Administrator will work closely with the ICT team to ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of the school’s ICT systems, applications, and databases. This role involves integrating and maintaining identity management systems, auditing and updating user and database information, resolving network and connectivity issues, and liaising with external vendors. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
ICT Support Officer
The ICT Support Officer will provide timely and effective technical support to staff and students, ensuring the reliable operation of ICT systems and services. Responsibilities include responding to help desk requests, maintaining accurate service records, assisting with software and hardware audits, managing user accounts and devices, and supporting ICT projects and maintenance tasks. A strong commitment to customer service and a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies are essential.

Selection Criteria – ICT Systems Administrator
Essential:
Experience with administration of Microsoft environments (Office 365, Teams, Entra, Purview, SharePoint, and Intune)
Experience with Linux platforms
Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 with AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO)
Experience with cloud technologies, scripting, and automation tools
Familiarity with security best practices, backup, and disaster recovery procedures
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Strong time management, organisation, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to hold a valid Working with Children Check
Ability to obtain National Police Clearance
Desirable:
Microsoft Certification or a Degree/Diploma in Information Technology
Experience in penetration testing and security auditing
Experience with MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune or Jamf
Experience working with Windows Server platforms
Experience working with Microsoft platforms
Minimum of 3+ years working experience required
Selection Criteria – ICT Support Officer
Essential:
Qualification in Information Technology or proven relevant experience or relevant training in IT support and IT systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users
Ability to work both independently but also within a collaborative team environment
Proven problem-solving skills
Efficient time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Ability to hold a valid Working with Children Check
Ability to obtain National Police Clearance
Desirable:
IT related qualifications or certifications
Experience administering Office 365
Experience with Active Directory
iOS device management Software
Experience with iOS and Windows
Testing and Tagging certification or willingness to gain certification
