Your new role
 
 The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales and growth across the company's agricultural and construction equipment divisions. Building on the organisation's strong existing client base and active sales pipeline, the successful candidate will manage and expand relationships with both new and established customers while selling a diverse range of heavy machinery, attachments, and related equipment solutions. Working closely with the leadership, workshop, and service teams, this role will oversee the full sales cycle--from enquiry through to delivery and after-sales support--ensuring clients receive tailored, high-quality service. With a strong database of loyal clients already generating consistent sales, the position offers immediate earning potential through a lucrative commission structure. Beyond sales, the Business Development Manager will contribute to strategic growth initiatives, represent the business at trade and industry events, and play a key role in reinforcing the company's reputation as a trusted partner in equipment solutions.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven sales experience within equipment, machinery, or related industries is advantageous but not essential
- Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-first approach
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through to after-sales support
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills across all client levels
- Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborative approach when working with leadership, workshop, and service teams
- High level of organisation and attention to detail in managing client accounts
- Understanding of agricultural, construction, or civil industries advantageous but not essential
- Willingness to attend trade shows, client visits, and networking events to promote brand presence
- Positive attitude and strong alignment with a team culture built on reliability, respect, and professional growth
