The Role

We’re seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a critical role in our growth. This role is focused on converting inbound leads into customers and proactively identifying and reaching out to potential high-value practices.

You’ll be the first point of contact for practices exploring NovoPsych, ensuring they understand our value and guiding them towards becoming paying customers. At the same time, you’ll use our customer data and lead lists to identify opportunities for outbound outreach, engaging potential clients and converting them into long-term users.

This is a fantastic role for someone who loves connecting with people, has strong communication skills, and wants to make an impact in the mental health space.

Key Responsibilities

Manage inbound leads, guiding practices from initial interest through to customer conversion.

Conduct outbound outreach to identified high-value prospects, following up on leads and building pipelines.

Identify opportunities for upselling within our customer base. (additional users, cross selling products)

Deliver tailored product demonstrations (online) to showcase NovoPsych’s benefits

Track and manage sales opportunities in our CRM.

Work closely with the Marketing and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handover and onboarding of new customers.

Report on progress, opportunities, and conversion metrics.

About You

We’re looking for someone proactive and personable, who enjoys both responding to interest and creating opportunities.

Essential skills & experience:

Experience in sales, business development, or customer acquisition.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Confidence running product demonstrations or client presentations online.

Organised and comfortable using a CRM to track pipelines.

Self-motivated, with the ability to work remotely and manage your own time.

Nice to have:

Experience in SaaS or healthcare sales.

Familiarity with the psychology or allied health sector.
Prior success in a target-driven role (meeting conversion or sales goals).
