Company: Is a mature global business finance lender, who's Australian business focuses on financing business critical equipment through: Equipment suppliers, Direct customers and Broker relationships.

Opportunity: The Australian business is is just starting to mature in the local market and so this role is needed to handle the growing number of applications above their automated decisioning model limits and ensure AML/KYC and other Compliance processors are in place.

Role: Is the sole specialist looking after commercial equipment finance applications that exceed the limits of automated credit decisioning models to assess new business sourced from Equipment dealers, Brokers and Direct customers.

The Credit decisioning model pretty much caps out at $250,000. So your role will assess deals over this and liaise with global Credit credit approval teams, depending on deal size.

The style of assessment is very much focused on financial statement assessment, and justifying the application with the 5 C's of Credit. While Smaller applications are assessed via bank statements and ATO portals, this role handles larger deals that the auto-descision engine and sales team, cannot approve.

You will monitor the performance of the rules in the decisioning model and also be the owner of AML/KYC check process, along with fraud monitoring and mitigation.

Requirements: We will be looking for the following skills and experience:
1. Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Business/Finance
2. Commercial lending experience with a finance company in Australia, focused on Equipment Finance as a DLA holder
3. Communication, to ensure referral partners understand Credit Risk's needs
4. Knowledge if best practice in Business Equipment Finance
