The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) is currently seeking application for a Senior Technical Specialist, Identity & Access Management (IDAM), to join the Information Technology team, internally known as the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG).

This full-time ongoing hybrid role can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth.

Remuneration: The annual salary range for these positions is EL1 - $117,665 p.a. - $138,493 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.

About the opportunity

Senior Technical Specialist, IDAM, reporting to the Director of Platforms, this role will manage the program of work related to our IDAM. This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership across the planning, implementation and continuous improvement of the IDAM framework, contributing to the development and delivery of high value organisational priorities.

This role work as part of the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG), Platforms branch whose primary purpose is the successful implementation and delivery of ICT strategy and operations to achieve the ART's strategic objectives, demonstrating definitive benefits realisation in an effective and efficient manner. Working closely with other ETG Assistant Directors, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ETG initiatives to enhance ART technology services and improve user experience and security posture.

The Senior Technical Specialist, IDAM will lead a small team not only to support the development and maintenance of ART IDAM but also to provide authoritative advice and guidance to ETG Directors, stakeholders, product teams and operations.

About you:

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • A proactive and flexible approach, including the ability to contribute to high priority work across the Platforms products area as needed.
  • Well-developed knowledge and understanding of modern Identity Management and the ability to propose innovation and improvements.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively, develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to communicate complex information clearly and succinctly, both orally and in written material.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Supervisory experience and experience working with senior stakeholders.

Essential:

  • The Tribunal requires Australian Citizenship as a condition of engagement.
  • All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and a Health Assessment.
  • Security Clearance - have or be eligible to achieve a Baseline Security Clearance.

Desirable:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience relevant to the key responsibilities of the role.
  • Academic qualification (degree, postgraduate) in technology and/or aligned qualifications (e.g. CIAM, CIMP)
  • Vocational certification in modern technologies (e.g., cloud, software, platforms)
  • Vocational certification in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, XP, SAFe).
  • Vocational certification in modern design and governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).

We review decisions made by Australian Government ministers, departments and agencies and, in limited circumstances, decisions made by state government and non-government bodies.
