We are busier than ever and searching for a Superstar Duty Manager, to join our award-winning Little National Sydney Team, in a Permanent capacity.

With the very quick rail connection to the airport and walkability to the commercial and retail core of the Sydney CBD (including underground connections to Barangaroo and George Street), the hotel provides the perfect recharging base for leisure and business travelers alike.

About the role

Our Little National Hotels are all about the ‘little details’ making a big impact on our guest experiences, creating little moments for guests that will keep them coming back for more. Whist on shift, the Duty Manager is responsible for leading, mentoring and acting as a role model for the Front Office team, ensuring service standards are upheld. The DM makes sound decisions based on situation analysis ensuring our guest and staffs safety is paramount, and therefore this role must be trained as a fire warden and hold a current RSA and First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities include:

Leading service-excellence operations of the Front Office within the hotel

Management of customer feedback and complaints

Delivering exceptional service experiences

Overseeing the implementation of Doma Hotels policies and procedures ensuring; policies and procedures are adhered

What you will bring

A guest-service expert, with a keen eye for detail, with ability to work effectively under pressure. Your communication skills will be first class and you'll adore interacting with our guests.

Naturally, your previous experience within a luxury hospitality setting, will come highly regarded. As will the following:

knowledge and proficiency in Opera, Micros, Microsoft Office suite & Time Target

advanced time management skills, coupled with ability to delegate and coordinate competing priorities

motivation to build strong rapport with guests and colleagues through effective, relatable and professional communication

leadership and mentoring capabilities to build and sustain an inclusive, high performing and supportive team

ability work under minimal supervision and maintain the confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data

excellent personal presentation and presence

willingness and ability to exceed expectations

knowledge and understanding of budgeting, rostering and payroll processes

current First Aid, RSA & Fire Warden Certification
