We are a family-owned luxury renovation company business seeking a professional and reliable Accounts & Office Administrator to work Part time two days a week on Wednesday and Thursday.
About the Role:
This is a part-time position (16-20 hours per week) which is suited to someone who works well independently, with high level accuracy, communication and professionalism.
You will be reporting directly to the Directors of the business and play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of all Office operations, Communication, and Document control
Administer all Contract documentation, including issuing, tracking, and maintaining project records
Be responsible for all aspects related to Human Resources, including staff records and onboarding
Manage company compliance, ensuring all insurances, licences, and registrations remain current
Support quoting, scheduling, and coordination between the site team, clients, and insurers
Ensure all documentation and record-keeping meet company standards
Managing supplier invoices, approvals, and payment runs
Recording and reconciling bank accounts and expenses
Processing payroll, leave accruals, and superannuation
General accounting and administrative support as required
Creating sales invoices for clients, including debt collection (as required)
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Role
Proficient in Xero
Time and project management and organisational skills, with the ability to identify and manage competing priorities
Ability to work autonomously
High level of computer literacy skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional presentation, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail
