The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Administration Manager to join our team, supporting HR and administrative functions across our group of venues. Reporting to the Venue Support Manager, you'll play a vital role in recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll support, and general administration.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Administration and HR experience in hospitality who enjoys variety and wants to contribute to a dynamic, multi-venue operation.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources:
- Support the full recruitment cycle from job advertisements through to offer letters
- Manage employee onboarding, including induction coordination and compliance checks
- Maintain employee records including qualifications, certifications, and traineeships
- Monitor HR compliance alerts and conduct regular system audits
- Provide frontline support for employee enquiries on policies, procedures, and Award interpretation
- Assist with payroll administration and Workers' Compensation matters
Administration:
- Perform data entry for venue stock systems, including till programming and invoicing
- Provide administrative support to senior management and all business departments
- Maintain office organisation, filing systems, and telephone reception
- Support continuous improvement processes across all functions
About You
Essential:
- 1-2 years' experience in an administration role, preferably within hospitality
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and workplace relations
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and database systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Desirable:
- Certificate IV in Human Resources or equivalent qualification
- Understanding of the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020
- Experience with roster management software (we use Tanda)
- Experience in invoice/stock management and payroll processing
- Accounts payable and receivable experience
