What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Trials Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of clinical trials by providing essential administrative and coordination support. You’ll work closely with clinical trial sponsors, investigators, and patients to maintain compliance and deliver high-quality research outcomes.

Prepare and coordinate Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) and Governance submissions

Manage electronic and hard copy filing in line with regulatory standards

Organise and support onsite and remote monitoring visits

Accurately enter and maintain data in study-specific databases

Assist with participant recruitment, treatment, and follow-up processes

Support laboratory sample processing and trial supply inventory

Essential Criteria:

Qualification: Certificate IV in Pathology or Diploma in Laboratory Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution with subjects relevant to pathology or medical laboratory operations.

Selection Criteria:

Proven proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as database software.

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Proven ability to meet deadlines within a busy working environment and flexibility required with start and finish times.

Ability to complete tasks efficiently and deliver outcomes as required, with accuracy and attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.

Demonstrated excellent ability to problem solve, organise and prioritise workload.
