Key Responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of an AHPRA registered Podiatrist, you will:

• Assist with routine foot hygiene, such as cleaning and moisturizing.
• Trim non-pathological nails with nail clippers and filing edges using a file.
• File dry skin/callus using file or foot dresser.
• Provide basic advice on footwear
• Recognise when to refer to supervising podiatrist or facility staff.
• Documenting observations and interventions.
• Sterilisation of instruments.

What you'll need:

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and willingness to complete Podiatry-specific training (provided by Healthcare Australia Education).
• Full working rights in Australia
• Driver's License and Car
• National NDIS Worker Screening Check (with online NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety and You" certificate)
• Current season Influenza vaccination
• COVID vaccinations and Booster
