You’ll be based at Blacktown Hospital within the Blacktown Medical Oncology Research (BMOR) unit – a leading centre for cancer research and clinical trials in Western Sydney. BMOR delivers patient-centred care through a multidisciplinary model, with a strong focus on innovation, ethics, and research excellence.

What you'll be doing
As the Clinical Trials Regulatory Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the coordination and oversight of all regulatory submissions across our broad portfolio of clinical trials. You’ll ensure compliance, manage communications with ethics and governance bodies, and support operational efficiency across the unit.
Prepare and manage regulatory and ethics committee submissions
Liaise with HRECs and governance offices to ensure smooth project approvals
Track and report adverse events and SUSARs in accordance with regulations
Maintain and update regulatory databases to support compliance and accuracy
Support SOP development and mentor admin staff during peak submission periods

Selection Criteria:
Proven experience and/or knowledge of Regulatory submissions.
Working knowledge and/or experience of the REGIS system.
Experience in all Microsoft Office Suite programs and working knowledge of databases.
High levels of organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands/workloads.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven attention to detail.
