Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Finance Officer to join our team, here based in Rocklea.

Key responsibilities will include:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner.

Review and verify invoices and payment requests.

Monitor and manage debtor accounts, including regular follow-up on outstanding invoices and proactive collection of overdue payments.

Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.

Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries.

Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.

Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant awards and legislation.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.

Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax obligations (BAS, PAYG, superannuation), and company policies.

Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and 3rd party stakeholders.

Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Be respectful towards the organisation, colleagues, clients and the general public.
