Bookkeeper/ Office Administrator
Water Force WA is a locally owned and operated bulk water supply company with a solid reputation for exceeding its clients' expectations and for providing prompt delivery of water supply and tank and pump hire throughout the Perth metropolitan area and surrounds.
We are looking for a Bookkeeper/Office Administrator who thrives on ownership, improvement and adaptability. This role will initially be four days a week 8am – 3pm with the opportunity to full-time employment with business growth. 3-month probationary period with Performance Management Reviews $45p/h. to start and negotiable after the 3-month probation plus proficiency demonstrated.
Responsibilities of the role:
· BAS, IAS, Payroll tax and Superannuation obligations (BAS Agent Licence preferred)
· Coordinating accounts payable and receivable, managing employee onboarding processes, and maintaining accurate document records.
· Overseeing scheduling, supply management, and workflow coordination to ensure smooth daily office Operations.
· Overseeing administrative support, HR coordination and compliance
· Driving efficiencies and supporting our business as it grows
· Coordinate office supplies, technology and maintenance needs
· Administrative tasks including general admin, travel & accommodation requests, issue purchase and work orders, quotes, supporting toolbox meetings.
· Approval of invoices and customer account reconciliations.
· Liaising with our external accountant
About you:
· Candidates must have 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience
· Time management skills – (essential)
· Interpersonal skills – essential
· Proven experience as a Bookkeeper and Office Administrator, with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint, scheduling software. (essential)
· MYOB experience is essential and must be demonstrated - proficiency in software, financial management, accounting basics, with advanced skills for payroll, tax compliance and financial tasks, BAS proficiency – (essential)
· A proactive mindset, such as identifying inefficiencies and suggesting process improvements, and strong desire to enhance team operations.
· Demonstrated strong communication and organisational skills by coordinating team projects that meets all deadlines and improved workflow efficiency.
· A sense of ownership, initiative and readiness to "make it yours"
