Bookkeeper — Part-Time (Osborne Park)

Blue Point Electrical is a growing electrical business based in Osborne Park, WA, specialising in residential and commercial projects. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team.

About the Role

Hours: 4 hours per day (Monday to Friday) — flexible with start and finish times

Location: Osborne Park, WA (with scope to work from home part of the week once established)

Employment Type: Part-time

Rate: $35–$40 per hour, depending on experience

You’ll be responsible for the smooth running of our financial administration, supporting the team with day-to-day bookkeeping and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Invoicing customers and following up on overdue accounts

Bank and credit card reconciliations

Payroll and superannuation processing

Preparation of BAS and IAS for review by our accountant

Supplier payments and expense tracking

Data entry and record maintenance in Xero

Generating monthly financial reports

Managing receipts and purchase orders

Liaising with staff, subcontractors, and our external accountant as needed

Assisting with general office administration and project cost tracking

Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years’ bookkeeping experience

Proficiency in Xero (essential)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and organisation skills

Experience with small-business bookkeeping in trade or construction (advantageous)
