Able Community Support Services are urgently seeking mature-aged Male and Female support workers to provide assistance to participants requiring immediate support. The ideal candidates will be compassionate, patient, and have experience working with individuals needing complex care.

Deliver individualised support services in accordance with participant care plans and NDIS goals.

Supporting participants with complex and challenging behaviours.

Assist participants with personal care tasks (e.g., showering, dressing, toileting) while maintaining dignity and respect.

Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.

Support participants to access and engage in community, social, and recreational activities.

Assist with mobility and transfers using safe manual handling practices.

Support participants with medication prompts and health-related activities

Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation (e.g., shift notes, incident reports).

Monitor and report changes in participant health, wellbeing, or circumstances to supervisors.

Promote participant choice, control, and independence in all aspects of service delivery.

Maintain professional boundaries and comply with privacy and confidentiality obligations.

Required to be available to do sleepover shift when needed.

Availability for 24/7 shift coverage is required for this casual position.
