Disability Support Workers -

Supported Independent Living (SIL)- Hervey Bay

Help4Heroes has a current opening for an experienced female support worker

Must be female as a requirement (participant-specific) to support an NDIS participant with

complex needs. She requires constant support due to her cognitive & communication

impairments as well as her mental health and trauma. She is a 50-year-old lady who resides

in a SIL with 24-hour support- Various shift availability.

Experience with complex behaviours - trauma-informed experience - Highly desirable

Skills:- Previous experience in mental health working with complex behaviours, PTSD

Be trauma-informed, a team player, and have strong communication skills.

Shift Availability:-Morning, afternoon, active overnight, including weekends and public holidays. Holiday relief hours available.

Fortnightly roster rotating - Paid weekly

Must hold -

Cert 3 in Disability or Cert IV Mental Health

Blue & Yellow Card -Current P

NDIS Modules up to date

CPR - First aid certificate

Assist with the medication certificate

National police check - Up to date
