Key Responsibilities
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing transactional finance operations across a complex, product-based environment:

Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for 10+ AP/AR staff

Allocate tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and manage workloads across the team

Monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs, taking corrective action where necessary

Supervise invoice processing, purchase orders, expense claims, and vendor payments

Oversee bank and supplier statement reconciliations and resolve escalated queries

Manage debtor invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and credit approvals

Support end-of-month close and financial reporting requirements

Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities in AP/AR functions

Lead transformation initiatives to enhance service delivery and team performance

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

Skills and Qualifications
You will bring proven leadership experience and a passion for operational excellence:

Proven leadership in finance operations or shared services (managing 10+ staff)

Strong AR/AP process improvement experience with a continuous improvement mindset

Experience with large ERP systems - SAP essential

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels

Ability to build strong relationships across the broader business

Change management experience and skillset

Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements
