About the Role:
The role is dedicated to delivering exceptional library services and positive customer experiences, with a key focus on assisting with enquiries (library, council, and visitor information), digital support, and contributing to program support and collection maintenance. The role will work across Council’s libraries (Kapunda, Freeling and Greenock), including outreach locations across the region including Hewett, and will report to the Coordinator, Libraries and Customer Experience. Council’s Kapunda Library branch is open 7 days a week and the role will involve regular weekend and/or evening shifts.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
· A friendly and approachable nature, with an ability to actively contribute to a positive team culture and welcoming environment for all customers.
· Experience in providing excellent service to a diverse range of customers.
· Library, Community or Customer Service qualifications would be highly regarded.
· Knowledge of Council and library services and the role they play in supporting the community.
· A solution-based mindset.
