If so, here’s your opportunity to join YMCA SA as a Customer Care Officer. As a YMCA SA Customer Care Officer, every interaction you have is a chance to create a welcoming experience, support community connection, and ensure our members and guests feel informed and valued. Based at Port Lincoln Leisure Centre, you’ll be the face of our centre, greeting visitors, assisting with enquiries, managing memberships and transactions, and providing key information about our programs and services. You’ll also be joining a vibrant and supportive team to deliver excellent customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide excellent customer service, responding to enquiries in person, on the phone and via email
Assist with membership sales, program information and general administration
Manage cash handling, POS transactions and café or merchandise sales
Support the smooth daily operations of the centre, including acting as the primary contact for customers
Maintain knowledge of services, bookings, events and emergency procedures
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
National Police Check (issued in the last 6 months)
DHS Working With Children Check
International Criminal History Record Check (if worked/lived overseas in the last 5 years)
HLTAID009 Perform CPR or equivalent
