Join Ray White AKG, a multi-office, multi award-winning real estate agency recognised for our high-volume success across Brisbane. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support our Finance Team with payroll, accounts, compliance, and financial administration.

About the Role
This varied position will give you exposure across payroll, accounts payable and receivable, tax and compliance, and financial administration. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the financial operations of our growing group.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

Process weekly payroll and maintain employee records.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Process supplier invoices, payments, and staff reimbursements.

Complete bank reconciliations.

Tax & Compliance

Assist with EOFY processes, reconciliations, and preparation for external accountants.

Financial Administration

Maintain accurate financial records across multiple offices.

Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting.

General Support

Respond to finance and payroll queries.

Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting.

Provide finance-related support to our Sales Agents.

Skills & Experience

Experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts receivable.

Proficiency in Xero (preferred) or similar accounting software.

Understanding of payroll, BAS, and GST requirements.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
