Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a local government to engage an Account Resolution Officer. This position is located in their busy Cleveland office for an initial 6 month contract.

About the Position
The Account Resolution Officer is responsible for managing and resolving outstanding debts in accordance with legislation and Council policies. This role involves assessing financial hardship, negotiating payment arrangements, preparing legal documents, and maintaining accurate records, while providing excellent customer service and supporting team operations.

Duties

• Collect outstanding debts efficiently
• Assess financial hardship cases
• Prepare court documents, filings
• Manage land-related recovery processes
• Maintain accurate customer records

Requirements/Skills

• Proven revenue collection experience
• Strong negotiation and communication
• High proficiency in Word/Excel
• Teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation
