About the Company/Role:

Based in Brisbane, our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of animal health products, committed to producing high-quality veterinary pharmaceuticals and nutritional supplements that support the wellbeing of animals nationwide. With a strong focus on quality, compliance, and innovation, they continue to deliver trusted solutions to the animal health industry.

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their blending team. This hands on role will see you lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced efficiently, safely and to a high quality standard.

As a Production Supervisor you will place a key role in maintaining GMP and OH&S compliance, supervising production staff and driving continuous improvement across processes and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and update them as required.
• Implement and monitor OH&S compliance.
• Plan rosters, allocate resources, and monitor staff performance to meet business requirements.
• Conduct site inductions and ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with QA, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient workflows.
• Drive process improvements and efficiency within the production area.
• Prepare and finalise manufacturing documents and reports for management review.

Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally in pharmaceuticals or related industries.
• Proven supervisory experience and strong leadership skills.
• Solid understanding of GMP and OH&S requirements. APVMA experience hightly desirable
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on approach with a commitment to quality and safety.
