We are Ausroad - a leading Australian manufacturer of specialised Mining and Road Maintenance Trucks, with over 30 years of innovation and reliability.

With a growing team, we are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Production Planner, to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the production schedule to ensure that manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with customer demand. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the production of goods, ensuring that the right materials, labour, and equipment are available to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Create Bill-of-Materials in ERP system (M1) from drawings and information

Create jobs from BOM for customer orders

Support engineering with researching new materials/parts

Support procurement with sourcing and quoting new and existing materials/parts

Support workshop floor with part and information requirements

Update existing BOMS

Monitor production progress and make adjustments to the schedule as needed to maintain efficiency

Work closely with other departments (such as procurement, logistics, production and quality assurance) to ensure smoother production operation

Identify and suggest improvement to production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste

What you’ll bring

3–5 years’ experience in production planning or a manufacturing environment

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (M1 preferred)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration

Proactive and organised, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
