About the Role
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio valued at approximately $400K–$450K in premium income. This is a hands-on, client-facing position where you’ll build and maintain trusted relationships, oversee renewals, and provide tailored insurance solutions across a variety of commercial sectors.
You’ll be supported by an experienced team of brokers and administration staff, allowing you to focus on what you do best — managing clients and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients across multiple industries
- Handle renewals, endorsements, and policy adjustments efficiently
- Provide expert advice on risk management and insurance placement
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and underwriters
- Identify opportunities for portfolio growth and client retention
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
About You
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or Account Manager in general insurance broking
- Strong technical knowledge across commercial lines
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Tier 1 Broking qualification (Diploma of Financial Services) required
- Organised, proactive, and confident managing clients end-to-end
