About the role

Bucketts Way Neighbourhood Group Inc' is seeking a passionate and experienced Nurse Coordinator - Ageing & Disability to join our team in Gloucester, NSW. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing and support services to our elderly and disabled clients in the local community.

What you'll be doing

Assessing clients' nursing and support needs and developing individualised care plans

Overseeing and coordinating the work of nursing and support staff to ensure consistent, efficient and effective service delivery

Providing direct nursing care and support to clients as required

Liaising with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, holistic care

Monitoring client progress and adjusting care plans accordingly

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our services

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience in aged care or disability support

Strong clinical skills and expertise in geriatric and/or disability nursing

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues

Demonstrated experience in coordinating and supervising a team of nursing and support staff

Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and best practices in aged care and disability support

Proficient in using technology and data management systems to support client care

Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of elderly and disabled individuals

Candidates must have valid Australian work rights to be considered for this position

Police check and Working with Vulnerable People check will be arranged by the employer
