Join Our Team – Disability Support Workers – Trauma-Informed (Central Coast, NSW)

Are you experienced in trauma-informed care or mental health support? Are you passionate about making a genuine impact in the lives of people with psychosocial disabilities?

Innerworks Disability Services is currently seeking dedicated male and female support workers to join our growing team. We have multiple vacancies, with some roles requiring female staff based on client needs and preferences under the NDIS.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide trauma-informed, person-centred support tailored to individual needs

Support clients with daily living, emotional wellbeing, and community participation

Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the care team

Work confidently in complex and dynamic situations while promoting client safety

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 12 months experience in mental health, psychosocial, or trauma-informed support

Willingness to work sleepover shifts and active night duties as required

Confident, calm, and responsive in challenging situations

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

A current and valid Australian driver's licence

Your own vehicle with comprehensive insurance

A current First Aid Certificate

Current CPR certification

A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check

A valid Working with Children Check

A National Police Check

Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa

Medication Management training certification

A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, or similar

Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or equivalent qualification
