About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable function. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in construction or project-based industries who’s looking for stability and ownership in their next opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.

Reconcile bank feeds and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.

Receive, sort, enter and file daily invoices including reconciliation of statements

Assist and relieve the Financial Controller for annual leave

Clear and distribute the accounts email inbox daily

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Good knowledge of general accounting practices & procedures

Experience: 3-5 years accounts payable/receivable and general accounting

Computer and IT literate including Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel

Desired Experience in MYOB Advanced Accounting software

A high level of attention to detail and commitment to deadlines

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

A proactive mindset and willingness to improve processes
