Role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of the accounts payable function within a supportive and collaborative finance team. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, attention to detail, and construction experience are essential to success.

Key Responsibilities

Full-function Accounts Payable - matching, batching, coding, and processing supplier invoices

Reconciling supplier statements and managing payment runs

Managing subcontractor payments and progress claims

Maintaining strong relationships with internal project teams and external suppliers

Assisting with month-end processes and reporting

Supporting process improvement initiatives across finance

About You

MUST have experience working in the construction industry (or similar industry)

Demonstrated end-to-end Accounts Payable experience

Strong understanding of subcontractor compliance, progress claims, and project cost coding

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

Confident communicator who enjoys working in a team environment & having a laugh

Systems-savvy with intermediate Excel skills
