VMC Setter / Senior Operator

Company:

Our client was established in 1974 and has been trading successfully for over 45 years. The business offers a comprehensive range of both, precise machining services, as well as fabrication capabilities.

You will be involved in, but not limited to:

• Able to set up multiple VMC machines efficiently and handover to operators
• Work with supervisor in VMC area regarding planning
• Strong with jigs/fixtures
• Implement setup/process improvements.

To be successful, you will have:

• Must have proven industry experience as a Senior VMC setter/operator
• Must have strong CAM knowledge
• Embrace new technology and be a self-starter, tech-savvy.
• Able to operate independently and the wants to train others would be highly regarded

Hours and Rate:

Day shift hours: Mon to Thurs, 6.00 am - 2.30 pm, Fri 6.00am - 12.00pm
Hourly rate: $45 - $50 / hour depending on skills and experience, plus super
