Braeside based precision engineering business, specialising in low volume production machining for medical, defence and aerospace needs a CNC Machine Operator for permanent fulltime on Day shift.

This is an excellent company to work for, they have been in business for over 40 years and are known for producing outstanding work and treating staff with respect.

They are looking for experienced and enthusiastic CNC lathe machinist to work on either Mazak or DMG Mori lathe machines doing set-ups and programming for production runs. You will report to the workshop Supervisor and be responsible for small runs between 10-50 components as well as high volume runs of 1000-2000 on average.

This is a great opportunity to join a secure and successful engineering business that offers their team a 4 day week.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications or
• CNC Lathe skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Suitable for perm Day shift
• Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings
• Programming skills a must.
