Great opportunity to join a successful Precision Engineering business in the South East suburbs, this well-established company has a strong stable history in Engineering. This is a new position that will involve various tasks such as operating and setting a 5 Axis CNC DMG Mori machine.

It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand. Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.

Reporting to the Manager, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) being responsible for setting the machine and adjusting programs. You will machine High Precision aluminium parts working to high tolerances.

CNC milling and turning using a 5 Axis DMG machine, setting and operating. Most work will be low volume or one-off working from engineering drawings or programs.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications
• Experience programming CNC Machines.
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• 5 Axis Dmg Mori experience
