About the role:
We’re looking for three Marketing and Communications Officers to join our Marketing and Communications team and help deliver high-quality campaigns that connect our community with the City of Swan’s services and initiatives.
In this role, you’ll bring campaigns to life across digital and traditional channels, collaborate with teams across the organisation, and help make sure our messaging is clear, timely and on brand.
You’ll manage creative projects, provide design briefs, and use insights to see what’s working and how we can do even better next time.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Marketing and communications campaign delivery – develop, write and coordinate engaging content and multi-channel campaigns that promote City services and initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand and customer service strategies; support strategic coordination by maintaining a City-wide calendar
- Collaboration and communication – work closely with internal teams and cross-functional groups to design campaigns, manage workflows, and maintain strong relationships across the organisation and community
- Reputation management – maximise exposure through print, digital and social media, evaluate performance using data and insights, and report on outcomes and evaluate results achieved and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
- Provide clear design briefs, manage creative outputs, and ensure timely delivery of communication materials that meet campaign and audience needs, in line with budget requirements

About you:
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as communications, writing, public relations or marketing (or significant experience that equates to a tertiary qualification)
- Media relations experience in a government or corporate environment
- Experience producing and executing marketing and communications campaigns successfully in a government or corporate environment
- Highly proficient in verbal and written communication, with the ability to gather information and produce clear, succinct and creative written copy
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required
- Current ‘C’ class driver's licence.

The salary for this position will be from $94,386.53 to $112,499.22 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
