This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior role, driving bid excellence and supporting business development across major projects. There are two positions one is permanent and the other is a 12 month contract.

The Role

As Pursuit & Business Development Manager, you'll take the lead on high-profile pursuits and tenders across the state/country, working closely with senior stakeholders and technical experts. You'll coordinate multiple bids of varying scale and complexity, ensuring every submission is sharp, strategic, and client-focused.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the full bid lifecycle, from strategy and scheduling through to production and submission
• Driving consistency, compliance, and quality across all pursuits
• Partnering with teams to shape win strategies and support client-facing initiatives
• Mentoring junior team members and sharing best practice to lift performance across the function
• Analysing bid outcomes to improve processes and success rates

About You

We're looking for a proven bids specialist with:

• 6+ years' experience leading bids and pursuits within a professional services environment (ideally from within the built environment, but broader professional services will be considered)
• Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills
• Excellent influencing and relationship-building abilities
• High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office
