Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum (plus superannuation)
Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week as per roster)

Lions & Tiger Freo is a fine dining restaurant and bar located in the heart of Fremantle, renowned for its contemporary Australian cuisine with global influences, fresh local ingredients, and exceptional service. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our kitchen team and work under the direction of our Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with the restaurant’s menu and standards.

Assist the Head Chef with menu planning, food costing, and kitchen operations.

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in all kitchen areas.

Supervise and train kitchen staff when required.

Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control.

Ensure efficient and timely service during busy periods.

Requirements:

A minimum qualification of AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.

1 to 3 years’ relevant on-the-job experience as a Chef in a quality dining establishment.

Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and food presentation.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and under pressure.

Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
