Our client, a Federal Government organisation that supports the functioning of Parliament and parliamentarians through the provision of professional services, advice and facilities, are seeking the experience of a Cloud Platform Engineer.

Duties of the Cloud Platform Engineer:

• Develop cloud automations and optimise cloud run costs. Effectively manage cloud resources to reduce costs and undertake tasks to optimise services such as server re-platforming and consolidations.
• Develop and manage services hosted on AKS/Kubernetes, ensuring reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Administer SQL Managed Instances (SQLMI) and SQL Servers, maintaining database integrity, security, and availability.
• Oversee and manage hybrid environments and infrastructure to ensure seamless integration and efficient operation across cloud and on-premises systems.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Technical competence and Experience. Demonstrates the right skills and previous experience in a similar role.
• AKS/Kubernetes.
• SQL Managed Instances.
• Managing hybrid environments and infrastructure.
• Must hold an NV1 Clearance
