Our client, a large, Federal Government Organisation responsible for health research, funding, promotion and regulation, are Seeking the experience of a Data Engineer for a long 6 + 12 month contract.

Duties of the Data Engineer:

• Be involved in demonstrating the benefit of regulatory reform in the care and support economy, and cost of inaction in a numerical format.
• An impact analysis will be produced to provide insights into expected project outcomes.
• The impact analysis will include a cost benefit and economic efficiencies assessment across all stakeholders within the care and support economy including government, care agencies, providers and consumers.

Skills and Experience Required

• The data engineer will have experience in compiling data for integration, data cleaning and imputation.
• A degree in data science, software engineering, mathematics or statistics.
• Ability to demonstrate, or have the real potential to develop, the required skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications to perform the role.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgement.
• Strong inter-personal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
