The Role

We’re seeking a driven, hands-on Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in leading the kitchen team, driving excellence, and bringing fresh ideas to the menu. You’ll help deliver delicious, consistent dishes while maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of the kitchen.

What You’ll Do

Work alongside the Head Chef to lead, train and inspire the kitchen team.

Ensure high standards in food quality, safety, and presentation are always upheld.

Contribute innovative ideas and seasonal dishes for our evolving menu.

Manage prep, service, and ordering with precision and pride.

Maintain clear communication across the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Take ownership of productivity, cost control, and waste management.

Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen culture.

About You

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum).

2+ years’ experience in a leadership or Sous Chef role.

Passionate, hardworking, and thrives under pressure.

A creative flair for modern pub classics with a twist.

Team-focused attitude and strong communication skills.

Full Australian working rights.
