About the Role

The Coordinator, Enrolment Operations & Compliance Services is responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate and compliant enrolment services across Swinburne’s diverse student cohorts, including strategic and commercial partners. This role ensures the seamless execution of enrolment operations and compliance activities that are critical to the student experience and institutional reporting obligations.

You will oversee the team’s adherence to legislative, contractual, and policy requirements, including data quality, audit readiness and government reporting. The role drives continuous improvement in service delivery, supports strategic cohort management, and ensures operational alignment within evolving compliance frameworks.

The coordinator leads the Enrolment Operations Team and collaborates closely with Student Administration leaders and other key stakeholders within the University to ensure that administrative services for students are seamlessly integrated and continually enhanced. The role is pivotal in mitigating risk, managing complex enrolment scenarios, supporting audit processes, and upholding high standards of quality and responsiveness across all enrolment functions within the teams’ scope.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• Knowledge or experience working with complex Vocational Education and/or Higher Education administrative processes and legislative requirements.
• Demonstrated experience and ability in the development, leadership, and management of staff in a complex and busy environment.
• Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability for annual planning and prioritisation of competing team demands to meet key deliverables.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in the provision of customer service, quality, and promotion of continuous improvement to enhance the staff and student experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, maintain and enhance relationships with staff and other stakeholders through constructive and collaborative interaction to achieve successful outcomes.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to investigate, analyse and make informed decision regarding complex issues.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite and the ability to effectively learn and use a variety of computer software packages such as the University’s Student Management System, Customer Relationship Management systems and/or reporting databases.
