About this amazing opportunity:
Lead by an experienced Commercial Manager who values curiosity and a commercial mind, this hands-on role puts you at the centre of our supply chain transformation. No two days are the same - you'll pivot between strategic planning and hands-on problem-solving, contributing wherever your skills can make the biggest impact. Victorian based with 2 days WFH, you’ll manage the full supply chain from procurement to customer delivery, including supplier relationships and hands-on customer service. You’ll embrace our seasonal business cycle and love exploring and applying new technologies including Gen AI. Think startup energy with 70+ years of stability - that's our sweet spot for getting things done.
What it takes to be amazing in this role:
We're looking for someone adaptable and self-directed who thrives when given autonomy to take on:
● Implementing automated workflows and optimising of operational processes
● Implementing system integration and Business Central improvements
● Customer service and service improvement execution
● Vendor sourcing, selection and compliance
● Vendor, freight and 3PL relationship management
● Day-to-day supply chain operations
● Production and inventory expediting
● Supporting EDI & CRM integration
● Creating and maintaining operational process data including workflows and videos
● Monitoring, owning & reporting on operational metrics
Why you’re amazing!
You excel in environments where change is constant, you're comfortable navigating uncertainty, and you explore creative solutions. You have:
● A passion for supply chain coordination & operations process improvement
● A genuine tech curiosity and high-tech literacy including strong ERP experience
● Proven success automating workflows, organising tasks and people, simplifying complex processes, and optimizing resource utilisation
● Min. 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
● Worked for a product import wholesale business
● A drive to explore solutions, contribute ideas across different areas, and build strong stakeholder relationships
● An uncompromising attitude to accuracy and focus on detail
● A strong knowledge of global manufacturing and logistics; and
● High level of responsibility for own actions and performance
Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and MS Power Platform [PBI, Flow etc.] essential. PowerBI knowledge as well as experience in businesses selling to national retailers and exporting highly advantageous.
