Our client, is a private home care provider with a great reputation for excellent care delivery in the industry. We are Seeking an Enrolled Nurse for a varied role which includes care coordination, rostering, recruitment and some after hours on call responsibilities. This is a regular permanent position 36 hours per week Monday to Friday during business hours however if on call during the weekend (working from home) then you will have rostered 2 week days off. The on call is shared and you will be the first point of contact on alternate weekends. After hours calls are going to be minimal however you will need to respond according to the situation which may be to facilitate an urgent roster change or a critical incident, any general queries are dealt with during business hours.
You will be joining a passionate and dynamic team who will provide you with training and support as you settle into your new role and beyond.
Responsibilities will include administrative tasks, answering calls from clients family and care team, recruitment, care coordination, rostering and documentation. The role is crucial in ensuring seamless operational support during after-hours on a rotational basis contributing to delivering exceptional care experiences for clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate after-hours operational activities alternate weekends to support continuous care service delivery.
- Respond effectively and promptly to urgent operational issues.
- Attend to last minute scheduling, and incident management during after-hours periods.
- Contribute to operational improvements by providing insights based on after-hours service experiences.
- When you are working between Monday - Friday during business hours responsibilities will include; customer service, care coordination, rostering, recruitment and administrative functions with lots of variety.
Candidate requirements
- Division 2 RN with current AHRPA Registration
- Knowledge and understanding of Private In Home Care
- Tech Saavy - previous experience with rostering and home care software systems
- Professional and friendly with great communication skills, organisation and attention to detail
- Demonstrable critical thinking skills - able to deal with urgent, or challenging situations.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service in a private homecare
The successful candidate will have experience in Private Home Care, strong organisational and communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently outside of regular business hours.
