Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp, analytical, and operations-savvy Finance operations Executive to work directly with the CEO and leadership team. This is a onsite role that combines financial analysis, supply chain and operations oversight, and day-to-day management of admin/accounts staff.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of the company, driving operational efficiency, and providing insights to support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Analysis & Business Reporting
Prepare monthly financial reports, P&L summaries, and budget variance analyses
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
Conduct margin and pricing analysis across product lines and channels
Track key financial KPIs, including revenue by channel, inventory costs, gross margins, and marketing ROI
Liaise with external accountants to ensure compliance and accurate statutory reporting
2. Operational Oversight
Oversee order processing, fulfillment coordination, and stock reconciliations
Monitor and optimize inventory levels across 3PLs and distributors (Chemist Warehouse, Health World, Unique, etc.)
Manage supplier invoices, costings, and internal approval workflows
Track logistics KPIs (order accuracy, lead times, returns, etc.) and drive continuous improvement
Support new product onboarding across systems and ensure operational readiness for launches
3. Staff & Admin Management
Supervise a small internal team handling admin, data entry, and accounts support
Allocate and oversee day-to-day tasks (e.g. invoicing, customer order issues, purchase orders)
Coordinate performance reviews, training, and upskilling for back-office staff
Act as bridge between operations, finance, and sales/marketing teams
4. Strategic Support & Commercial Projects
Lead or support commercial analysis for product innovation, market expansion, and partnerships
Build dashboards and models to support business cases or investment decisions
Support the CEO and external consultants with data for capital raises, grant applications, or partner discussions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
Minimum 4+ years experience in business analysis, operations, or finance roles (FMCG or health/wellness preferred)
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling)
Comfortable using Xero, Cin7 (or similar ERP/inventory systems),
Excellent attention to detail, high integrity, and strong organizational skills
Prior experience managing junior team members or admin staff is a must
